TTT: Book Titles That Would Make Good Band Names

I often read book titles and think that they could be song titles but I'd never really given much thought to book titles as band names so this was a fun exercise!

I'm really looking forward to seeing what others come up with for this prompt!

Now, I haven't read all the books I've featured but the songs are all songs on my playlists from various stages of my life... Make of that what you will! 😉

🌻

Bad Romeo & Broken Juliet

(by Leisa Rayven)

I couldn't choose between these two so I'm cheating and including them both!
I'm thinking they'd suit an alt. rock band... Like, Night Riots.

🌻

Finding Cinderella
(by Colleen Hoover)

I'm thinking this would suit an Indie Rock band... Like, Scouting For Girls.

🌻

Mud Vein

(by Tarryn Fisher)

This has got to be a Heavy Metal band, right?

🌻

Seeing Stars

(by J. Sterling)

This would be for a pop rock band!

🌻

Till Death

(by Jennifer L. Armentrout)

I'm thinking thrash metal for this one!

🌻

Black Magic Sanction

(by Kim Harrison)

Symphonic Metal! Has to be!
Nightwish sprung straight to mind when trying to link titles to bands so...

🌻

Sins of Seven

(by Penelope Ward)

Another one that would suit a metal band...

🌻

Finding Eden

(by Mia Sheridan)

I went back and forth on what kind of band Finding Eden would be and settled on some kind of symph metal again but this time more like Within Temptation.

🌻

Molly's Millions

 (by Victoria Connelly)

I'm thinking angry chick band for Molly's Millions... Alt/indie rock maybe?

🌻

Undercover Bromance

(by Lyssa Kay Adams)

I'm thinking something punk poppy rocky for this one!

So, whatcha think?

There's lots of varients of metal music. Heavy, Symphonic, Thrash, Death, Nu to name but a few!

  3. I love your choices. I did think of adding what type of music but I'm so uneducated on subgenres of music that I was ending up repeated the same things like 'pop' or 'heavy metal' too much, 😂

  5. Well, the band Bad Romeo beat you to the punch. Mud Vein could be grunge too (like Mudhoney). This is my second Undercover Bromance spotting, but I agree, a great name for a pop-punk band or maybe a boy band.

  12. You're right, so many book titles would be great song titles too. Bad Romeo and Broken Juliet would be awesome names for a couple of bands with the same manager that liked to tour together.
