What I Liked:
6 books and multiple novellas have been building to this moment and it didn't disappoint!
Roland finally arrives!
Hugh is as deliciously twisted, sexy and evil as ever!
We actually 'meet' Kate's grandmother!
The shit hits the fan and the world will never be the same again but OMG, it was awesome!
So much happens with the Guild, the People, the Pack... It was the business!
Magic Breaks brings lesser known characters to the forefront, such as Robert the Rat Alpha, and develops other known characters of lesser prominence such as Ghastek which was a refreshing change from the status quo, but fear not fans of the usual crew for they are still very much in existence.
This book was fast paced, even for a Kate Daniels novel, and it drives the story forward with major changes for several characters, not just Curran and Kate.
I'm so excited for what comes next!
What I Didn't Like:
Roland's "I own the world" attitude. He's a complete prick and I disliked him as intensely as Kate did. I really hope that in future books someone stabs him in the eye, rips out his soul and cooks him on an eternal fire.

The world of Kate Daniels will never be the same!
I don't know what's going to come next but I hope it works out for everyone for I really do love these characters, this series and this world! I'll be gutted when it all ends and I hope that when Kate's story concludes that other characters will pick up the world. (Derek? Hugh? Or even better, both!)
