How do you teach a rock star how to meditate?

I love rockstar romances. I was in a mood for a nice rockstar romance and when I saw Katia Rose - who I'd read in the past and quite enjoyed - was looking for reviewers for her new rockstar romance, it was a no-brainer to sign up and I'm so glad I did!

I really really enjoyed Your Echo.
It starts off in a strange territory in that Ace... Well. He's a right dickhead. However, he's an interesting dickhead and you instinctively know there's more to his behaviour than meets the eye and as the story unfolds and more and more of him is revealed you can't help but fall in love with the guy along with Stephanie.
Stephanie was a cool character. She's French-Canadian - which I hadn't encountered much in books before - and a dancer with a serious chip on her shoulder due to events in her childhood.

Basically, Stephanie and Ace both have issues and were two halves of a perfect, broken, whole who felt destined to find each other. They needed each other. They made each other stronger. Better. More.

The story is one of healing, forgiveness, and acceptance told through the lives of interesting characters with smoking hot chemistry.
With a great balance of angst and humour, the author kept me turning the pages, absolutely hooked.
 The writing was such that the characters felt real.
I was sucked into their world, I walked their streets, felt their feelings, listened to their music and wanted to dance.
It was beautiful but, as I said, real and a bit gritty and imperfect.

I cannot wait to read more of this series!
I particularly loved Ace's bandmate JP... He had a Mal (from Kylie Scott's Stage Dive series) vibe to him - well if Mal was French-Canadian - and had me in stitches!

The cover is fairly typical of what I'd expect from the genre but it does get extra props for having the guy clothed and looking rocky rather than shirtless and pouty!
