I wouldn't read this without having read the others. Things are recapped but you'd still be missing too much info to really get into it, imo.

There are werewolves and vampires and violent power struggles...

After being driven out of her home turf at the end of book one, we finally see Kitty returning to Denver with Ben by her side.
Kitty’s mum is sick and in order to be there for her mum, and reclaim her home, Kitty needs to settle things with her abusive former alphas or she needs to stay completely under the radar and hope they remain ignorant to her presence… Which is near to impossible when the supernatural power players of Denver - aka the vampires - are determined to drag Kitty into their political power struggles.
Plus, the story would be kinda boring if they didn’t find out she was home, wouldn’t it? 😄

I loved this book.

We see how strong Kitty has become, how far she has come from the scared, weak, snivelling doormat her former alphas made her. She is afraid but she is strong enough to stand her ground and fight for her home.
There’s plenty of action and Kitty continues to grow and surprise me. Her relationship with Ben also goes through some interesting developments… This series isn’t romance heavy, it’s there but it isn’t the focus, so it was nice to see some decent page time be given to their relationship. Kitty and Ben, the humans, did not choose each other, their wolves did, so it’s really nice to see that their human halves finally caught up!
It was nice to see Kitty’s show, The Midnight Hour, return to its home studio in all its hilarious glory and I enjoyed learning more about the politics of vampires and have no doubt that the events in this book will ripple through the future books in this series.

Kitty and The Silver Bullet is a book that brings the series back to where it all began but flips everything up on its head.
I can’t wait to see where we go from here!
